So, here's my question. If you have a patient who calls in who had a piece of tooth chip out today, and she can feel it with her tongue (very sharp), and it's in a tooth that you told her to keep an eye on because she was starting a small cavity...
WHY WOULD YOU MAKE HER WAIT A WEEK AND A HALF TO SEE YOU WHEN THE CHIP FELL OUT?
Don't you think that that would take some kind of priority? No. Unless I'm in serious discomfort, I will not be seen until the 2nd. If someone cancels, I MIGHT be able to be bumped up. Maybe. But it isn't guaranteed.
Why do I bother calling when I have a problem when I know I'm not going to be seen anyway? I was hoping that even if it wasn't tonight yet, I'd at least have a shot for tomorrow, Friday at the latest.
I guess that was too much to ask.
